Due to severe flooding, health services remain deeply disrupted in Dauphin and the surrounding region, with officials anticipating Dauphin Regional Health Centre could be closed for months before services are fully restored.

What we know: The situation remains highly dynamic. Prairie Mountain Health officials are trying to keep staff and physicians up to date on Dauphin Flood Staff Updates page. 

• Dauphin Hospital is expected to be closed for ​“months,” though engineers and officials are still completing a comprehensive assessment of the building and infrastructure. 
• Programs and service areas may re-open with a staggered or phased approach, as repairs are completed and spaces are deemed safe and operational.
