CPD Rebates
Claim-As-You-Learn for Expenses During the 2025 Calendar Year
Our CPD Rebate program reimburses physicians for Continuing Professional Development expenses.
This rebate makes it easier to claim expenses using a Claim-As-You-Learn CPD Rebate method that eliminates long waits to be reimbursed. Eligible expenses include learning events, such as conferences, as well as other expenses that primarily support your continuing professional development, such as subscriptions.
Every eligible physician starts with a $4,000 “bank” for CPD expenses, on top of the $1,000 CPD Credit Rebate claimed when members renew their annual Doctors Manitoba Membership. This means members will now be able to claim up to $5,000 for Continuing Professional Development each year. Some members, such as those living in rural and northern communities, may have access to an additional supplement to help with the added cost of attending in-person events.
Members may log in to the Doctors Manitoba portal to view their CPD “bank” and submit information to claim rebates for both categories. The simple-to-use claim forms do not require any uploads of receipts or certificates (but hold on to them in case of an audit).
Members can track the status of claims as they are submitted, approved, and paid within the portal.
