  • Doctors Manitoba Mentorship Program: This program supports medical learners as they transition to becoming practicing physicians through mentorship with residents and physicians.

  • Leadership Development: Doctors Manitoba offers opportunities to learn and develop leadership skills for learners and physicians throughout their career.

  • Doctors Manitoba – Bannatyne: Lawyers are on-site from time to time to provide notary services, contract reviews, general advice, and referrals. These services are available to members virtually and through our main office.

Personal issues, navigating life events or simply managing the everyday can affect your work, health and family. The Physician and Family Support Program provides support, resources and information for personal and work-life issues. The confidential program is funded by Doctors Manitoba and is provided at no charge to you, your dependents, and anyone living in your household.

Physicians at Risk (PAR)

Established in 1986, Physicians at Risk (PAR) helps physicians, residents, medical students, and their families. PAR also provides assessment, intake, and service navigation and receives referrals from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba and other partners and programs to provide support to physicians and medical learners.

CBTm for Physicians and Medical Learners

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy with Mindfulness (CBTm) for Physicians and Medical Learners is a set of courses designed to offer education and skills training in evidence-based self-management strategies to support the mental well-being of physicians and medical learners, delivered in a supportive peer environment.
