Individual, Couples, or Family Counselling

Physician and Family Support Program — Counselling: Confidential individual and couples counselling by self-referral for medical learners, residents, practicing and retired physicians, MLPIMG participants, spouses, and dependents over 12 years old. Physicians at Risk (PAR) —PAR provides counselling, clinical addictions care, and physician-led individual and group peer support for Doctors Manitoba members with complex needs, and/​or CPSM Involvement. Mentorship

Doctors Manitoba Mentorship Program: This program supports medical learners and MLPIMG participants as they transition to becoming practicing physicians through mentorship with residents and physicians.

  • Leadership Development: Doctors Manitoba offers opportunities to learn and develop leadership skills for learners and physicians throughout their career. 
Legal Support and Resources
  • Doctors Manitoba can assist with certain legal matters. Members can obtain advice about agreements, including clinic agreements, health authority and university agreements, and return-of-service agreements after residency. Doctors Manitoba can also assist members in finding independent lawyers to assist them with other matters, including wills and estate planning, incorporation, drafting employment contracts for staff, intellectual property, and real estate transactions. Doctors Manitoba provides complimentary notary services for all members. Ensure you bring appropriate photo ID with you if documents require your identity to be certified.
