Learn more about the benefits you can access as a member of Doctors Manitoba, including maternal/​parental leave, retention benefits, and rebates for liability insurance and CME. 

We have established these benefits for you through the Master Agreement negotiated with the Manitoba government

PLIF/CMPA Rebate Program

Helps alleviate some of the burden of expenses for medical liability coverage for physicians, despite rising CMPA dues.

Reimburses Continuing Professional Development expenses such as registration fees, medical educational materials, accommodation and meals

Group CPD Program

Doctors Manitoba has expanded the negotiated individual CPD Rebate Program to include group based CPD.

Maternity/​Parental Benefits

Provides partial income replacement for a physician parent to take a temporary leave from their practice or residency program for the birth or adoption of a child

Physician Retention Program

Provides financial incentives and recognition for physicians who continue to practice long-term in Manitoba

We offer coverage designed for physicians by physicians, on a not-for-profit basis. Includes Life, Critical Illness, Disability Income, Accident, Office Overhead and Extended Health Care.
