Physicians are required to complete continuing professional development (CPD) to maintain their license. To recognize the costs and time away from clinical care, Doctors Manitoba offers an annual rebate called the CPD Credit Rebate. Any fully licensed physicians who completed the minimum number of CPD credits to maintain their license, as defined by the College of Physicians and Surgeons, is eligible to claim the $1,000 rebate. 

You can claim the CPD Credit Rebate during the Doctors Manitoba annual renewal cycle, which typically starts every August. 

This rebate is offered in addition to the CPD Expenses Rebate, which helps to cover the costs physicians incur for attending conferences and other CPD events or expenses.
