Description
River West Medical Centre is seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and patient-focused Family Medicine Physician to join our growing healthcare team. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who is passionate about delivering comprehensive, high-quality primary care and building meaningful, long-term relationships with patients and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, and examinations
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions across all age groups
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs and goals
- Provide preventative healthcare services, including health screenings, immunizations and wellness counselling.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, allied healthcare professionals and support staff to ensure coordinated patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation using electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health promotion and lifestyle management
- Stay current with advancements in family medicine, clinical guidelines and best practices
Qualifications:
- Medical Degree (MD) from an accredited institution.
- Licensed to practice in Manitoba, Canada
- Certification in Family Medicine (CCFP) is considered an asset
- Previous experience in a family practice, community clinic, or hospital setting is preferred
- Strong clinical skills with experience managing patients across diverse age groups
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship=building abilities
- Commitment to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care while maintaining the highest professional standards
