Introducing PracticeForward
Medicine doesn’t come with a handbook for running a practice. Yet today’s physicians are expected to navigate everything from billing and contracts to staffing, technology, paperwork, leadership, and the business side of medicine, all while continuing to deliver exceptional patient care.
As the demands of medical practice continue to grow, physicians need practical support that helps reduce administrative complexity and strengthen their practice. That’s why Doctors Manitoba is launching PracticeForward.
“PracticeForward is a suite of new and expanded services to help physicians move their practice forward every step of the way,” explained Dr. Alon Altman. “You will find services our members already value, plus new resources to support physicians at every stage of their career, from starting practice to retirement.”
PracticeForward is designed to help physicians be physicians by making it easier to navigate the professional and administrative responsibilities of modern medical practice. It brings together:
- Trusted services — including billing and contract advice, audit support, and our New to Practice program for early career physicians.
- Expanded support — with additional Practice Advisors, more education, one-on-one practice check-ups, physician leadership development, and enhanced practice opportunity listings.
- New resources — including Business of Medicine guides and tools, practice management resources, vetted vendors physicians rely on, and member discount programs.
PracticeForward is already underway. Members can connect with our expanded team of Practice Advisors and access a comprehensive library of more than 100 Business of Medicine and practice management resources and tools. Additional services will be introduced over the coming months.
