Pride season is getting closer! On average, there are more than 45 community-organized events held for Pride, when the 2SLGBTQ+ community and allies come together to celebrate. 

With this in mind, Doctors Manitoba is taking a new approach to empowering and supporting our members who want to take part in Pride events across Manitoba. 

Members are encouraged to support and participate in Pride events, and we’re here to help! Resources for your participation include borrowing our banner, accessing T‑shirts, stickers and decals (while supplies last), and a grant of up to $500 for each festival or location to support community outreach. This grant can be used for refreshments, swag, giveaways or T‑shirts.

Showing physicians’ support for this community is important during Pride season and all year round. Doctors Manitoba is committed to creating safe spaces and equal access to health care for Manitobans from the LGBTQ2S+ community. 

Members can order both pronoun cards and Safe Space stickers here. Pronoun cards and safe space decals are for Doctors Manitoba members only.
