Registration is now open for health care providers to receive influenza and COVID-19 vaccines from provincial stock, as part of the 2026/27 Vaccine-Preventable Respiratory Illnesses Immunization Program. 

How to register: Registration is required each year to receive the vaccine shipments.

📌 Please note, a five-digit Holding Point Code (Client ID) is required in order to complete the registration. If your location does not have an account with the provincial vaccine warehouse, please complete and submit this form before registering. 

You will also be asked to fill out an initial order survey which will be available in early September.

Overview: Manitoba’s vaccine supply is received in multiple shipments throughout the season after approval by Health Canada (anticipated in September).

• Manitoba will start the distribution of influenza and COVID-19 vaccines to providers once those shipments arrive.
• You should expect to receive your first order in two separate deliveries.

• Vaccines will be allocated based on the previous year’s vaccine administration data and provincial inventory levels. Orders that significantly exceed historical administration volumes will be adjusted.
• If you anticipate higher demand than usual, please provide clear rationale in the ​“Special Delivery Instructions” section of the order survey. These requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and will be considered based on available supply.

Priority locations (i.e. Hospitals, First Nations Communities and Long-Term Care facilities) will receive vaccines first and will have access to weekly ordering and deliveries. 

• All other registered providers will be placed into one of two distribution groups and will have access to biweekly vaccine deliveries for the start of the campaign, contingent on vaccine manufacturers fulfilling their contractual obligations.

Enhanced influenza vaccine update: Enhanced influenza vaccine (Fluad® (adjuvanted)) will be available for those who are 65 years of age and older.

COVID-19 vaccine update: Manitoba will have a small quantity of the non-mRNA COVID-19 vaccine, Nuvaxovid® from Sanofi. It will only be available for those twelve years of age and older who cannot or choose not to get an mRNA COVID-19 vaccine. This product will expire in December 2026.
