CPSM Consultation: New Registration Class 

The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba (CPSM) is inviting feedback on the creation of a new class of registration
to help address urgent workforce needs, while placing safeguards to ensure that physicians entering practice in Manitoba meet appropriate standards. 

The existing regulatory framework enables Royal College certified emergency medicine specialists to practice in ERs, as well as family physicians with emergency medicine training. The new class is designed for IMGs/​ITPs who do not meet specific requirements for traditional provisional specialty or family practice pathways.
