Health care is an inherently complex system, and physicians and other health care workers are expected to be experts at navigating it. But even experienced health care professionals can struggle to lead in a system that can be volatile, uncertain and ambiguous. 

In this course, we demystify social systems to help you develop better strategies to influence individuals and guide decision-making within a large, complex system such as health care. 

Through an organizational simulation, reflective exercises and conversations, you’ll build empathy for the people involved in these systems and develop an understanding of the systems’ components and of the leadership role you can play in addressing systemic challenges.
