For Manitoba’s Physicians, Residents, and Medical Learners

Date: Tuesday, October 8
Time: 6:00 – 9:00pm

Doctors Manitoba is honoured to present the virtual Blanket Exercise, a participatory experience and educational tool, to physicians, residents, and medical learners across the province.

This event revisits the shared history of Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples of Canada and is an opportunity to mark the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, together.

What to Expect:

Previous participants have described the virtual Blanket exercise as intense, powerful, and profoundly moving.

Each Doctors Manitoba member registered is invited to bring a guest. Some staff of Doctors Manitoba will also be in attendance.

Each individual participant must be on their own computer or laptop (no handheld devices please) and have access to Zoom.

I have always found the Blanket Exercises to be deeply impactful … I found, to my absolute surprise that the virtual BE was, in some ways, even more impactful than in person. … I highly recommend this exercise, either virtual or in person…
