Doctors Manitoba is committed to our members from the LGBTQ2S+ community and to creating safe spaces and equal access to health care for Manitobans from the LGBTQ2S+ community. Our board recognizes that members of the LGBTQIA2S+ community face disparities in health, health risk factors, and barriers to health care when compared to heterosexual and cisgender members of society.

Clinics and medical environments deemed Safe Spaces are important for the comfort, safety and inclusivity of patients and staff who identify as members of the LGBTQ2S+ community. We are helping members to create these inclusive spaces by offering complimentary ​‘safe space’ decals to display in your practice. We also offer complimentary pronoun ID badges.
