Dear Colleagues,

As you may know, we currently have a severe shortage of family physicians across the province, and especially in rural areas. The IMG program plays an important role in selecting and overseeing the assessment process for qualified internationally trained practicing physicians, who may be ready to enter practice. Practice Ready Assessment (PRA) is set up to screen potential applicants, and overseeing the assessment process (usually 3 months). We are looking for a motivated colleague as the PRA director to lead the team, and contribute to improving health care access for rural Manitobans.
