Don’t miss out on your chance to nominate a deserving colleague for the 2025 Doctors Manitoba Awards. 

WHY IT MATTERS: Doctors Manitoba’s annual awards are the highest honour for the Manitoba medical community, bestowed upon physicians by physicians. Physicians across the province are encouraged to recognize the outstanding contributions of their peers by submitting nominations for a Medal of Excellence, Physician of the Year, Distinguished Service, Resident of the Year or for the award recognizing humanitarianism and community service. 

WHAT THEY’RE SAYING: ​“This is your opportunity to honour the dedication, innovation, and compassion exhibited by doctors who go above and beyond in their practice,” said Dr. Heather Diamond, Chair of the Doctors Manitoba Awards Committee.

Last year’s gala highlighted the remarkable stories of seven award winners. This year, the spotlight will once again shine on those who make a difference in the lives of patients and colleagues alike. Whether through research, teaching and mentorship, exceptional patient care, or community initiatives, many physicians embody the spirit of excellence that the Doctors Manitoba Awards aim to celebrate.

“We believe that the best advocates for our colleagues are their peers, and the event also provides an important occasion for connection,” said Dr. Randy Guzman, President of Doctors Manitoba. ​“By nominating a fellow physician, you not only acknowledge their hard work but also inspire others to follow in their footsteps. Each nomination is a testament to the invaluable contributions of doctors throughout Manitoba.”
