This page will help you calculate your insurance premiums and estimate when the premiums will be withdrawn from your account, based on your preference for annual or monthly payments.

To find the appropriate premium and payment options for you:

  1. Find the appropriate section based on your gender and smoking status
  2. Select your age bracket
  3. Select your Disability Coverage level ($3,500 or $4,000 monthly).

Annual vs. Monthly Premium Payments

Some resident physicians prefer to pay for their insurance once per year, while others prefer the monthly deduction option. We are happy to accommodate both.

In the tables below, you will see both annual and monthly options for long term disability and accidental death and dismemberment premiums. There is only an annual option for the term life insurance premium.

For your first year, coverage will begin on July 1. Coverage is prorated for your first year, with your long term disability and accidental death & dismemberment coverage running to May 31 (11 months) and your term life insurance coverage running to December 31 (6 months). Both will renew on these dates.

We will send you a summary of your premium and withdrawal dates after your application is processes, and then annually upon renewal.
