Description
North End Medical Clinic is seeking a permanent, full-time family practice and walk-in physician. We are a family practice and walk-in clinic situated within a very large, dense residential area in the heart of Winnipeg. Consistent walk-in patient traffic has been established at the clinic already with our existing part-time walk-in physician.
You will very quickly build your patient panel to your desired target number due to the high need of physician care in the area. The previous full-time physician at our clinic, who practiced for over 20 years in the area and since 2012 at our specific clinic location, has retired which has created a unique opportunity to build your practice fast.
Additional reasons that support the ability to build you practice quickly:
- Many other physicians at nearby clinics have either retired or are retiring soon.
- Nearby clinics are at capacity and have a wait list for family practice patients.
- Numerous patients stop in or call North End Medical Clinic daily to see if/when we will have a new full-time physician accepting patients.
You are free to make your own clinic hours and schedule. Fee-for-service remuneration model.
Clinic details: Two exam rooms are available for your practice, staffed clinic, EMR (Accuro), turn-key practice that is ready to go, free on-site parking, on-site pharmacy.
A separate physician house calls service operates out of the same location. You have no obligation to work at the house calls service but are welcome to on a part-time basis if you’d like. For instance, after your regular clinic ends for the day, you could pick up some house call visits if you desire.
