River West Medical is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Physician to join our team on either a full-time or part-time basis. This opportunity is ideal for a physician looking to establish a sustainable long-term practice within a supportive clinical environment. This position blends continuity based family medicine with walk-in care allowing the successful candidate to build and develop their own patient panel while maintaining a consistent and diverse workflow.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and physical examinations.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illness across various age groups.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences.
- Provide preventative care, including immunizations and health screenings.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care effectively.
- Maintain accurate medical records using electronic record systems such as Accuro.
- Educate patients and their families about health management, disease prevention, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Stay current with advancements in family medicine and medical terminology.
Experience
- Medical Degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certified in Family Medicine.
- Experience in a medical office or hospital setting is highly desirable.
- Familiarity in using electron health record systems, particularly Accuro is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.
