Clinical Scope & Required Competencies:
The incoming physician must be experienced and competent in performing in an office setting:
Local anesthetic injections, including:
- Trigger point injections
- Occipital nerve blocks
- Supraorbital nerve blocks
- Infraorbital nerve blocks
- Spinal accessory nerve blocks
- Paralumbar blocks
- Sacroiliac joints
Therapeutic Botox injections for:
- Chronic migraine
- Cervical dystonia
- Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders
Practice Details
- 20 years established in Winnipeg
- Current practice utilizes an interdisciplinary pain management approach for non-cancer pain management including educating patients on self-care, injections as referred to above, psychological support, and minimal pharmacotherapy
- Strong referral base and long-standing patient relationships
- Flexible hours with no on-call responsibilities
- Currently 2 – 3 full days with option to increase
Option for a turn-key clinic setup including:
- Two rooms (1 procedure room and 1 office) with more rooms available
- Reception services
