Clinical Scope & Required Competencies:

The incoming physician must be experienced and competent in performing in an office setting:

Local anesthetic injections, including:

• Trigger point injections
• Occipital nerve blocks
• Supraorbital nerve blocks
• Infraorbital nerve blocks
• Spinal accessory nerve blocks
• Paralumbar blocks
• Sacroiliac joints

Therapeutic Botox injections for:

• Chronic migraine
• Cervical dystonia
• Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders

Practice Details

• 20 years established in Winnipeg
• Current practice utilizes an interdisciplinary pain management approach for non-cancer pain management including educating patients on self-care, injections as referred to above, psychological support, and minimal pharmacotherapy
• Strong referral base and long-standing patient relationships
• Flexible hours with no on-call responsibilities
• Currently 2 – 3 full days with option to increase 

Option for a turn-key clinic setup including:

• Two rooms (1 procedure room and 1 office) with more rooms available
• Reception services
