WCB Physician Reports Guidelines
The following guidelines and definitions will help in determining the most appropirate tariff and fee to use when invoicing the WCB for medical information requested and submitted.

- An incomplete initial report with the doctors’ signature and attached chart or clinic note(s) from the visit with the patient
- *Chart and clinic notes must contain information similar to that requested in the initial report.
- An outpatient summary sheet that supports the ongoing management of the claim.

- Eligible Physician time includes, but is not limited to time-related to retrieval, production, review, redaction, and summarization of medical information relevant to the WCB claim.
- Claimable for each full 15 period and each additional 15 period or major portion thereof (a major portion thereof equals more than half of the 15 mins or more than 7.5 minutes)

- Minimum of 1 hour to be claimed.
- Preparation time and direct travel time may be claimed.
- A physician may claim a different hourly rate, where mutually agreed prior to meeting with the WCB.
