The session explores the indications, contraindications, and potential complications of joint injections, with an emphasis on effective patient communication and shared decision-making. Learners will evaluate current medical evidence to guide appropriate medication selection for intra-articular use. Hands-on components include focused physical examinations of the knee and shoulder to identify anatomical landmarks and ensure safe injection practices.
