Fridays at the University is a series that consists of eight sessions held online. The sessions are targeted toward urban and rural family physicians, Royal College fellows, and other primary care health providers. Fridays at the University offers high value, impactful lectures and skills workshops throughout the academic year.

Travel Health Day

Expand your skills in travel and post-travel medicine with a practical, case-based session designed for primary care providers. You’ll explore evidence-based strategies for managing common travel-related conditions, with special attention to tropical dermatologic issues and the unique needs of pediatric travelers. The session also highlights key health risks in immigrant and refugee populations, emphasizing culturally sensitive and patient-centered care. You’ll leave with effective communication tools to support prevention, education, and follow-up, including best practices for travelers visiting friends and relatives abroad.
