(40 HOURS PER WEEK) Hope Centre Health Care Inc., is a community health Centre that provides primary care, counselling services and outreach services to our local community in the Northend of Winnipeg. (times to be determined) SALARY RANGE: Per the Doctors Manitoba Contract PLEASE SUBMIT RESUME TO: Giselle Lamy – Executive Director, Hope Centre Health, 240 Powers St, Wpg, Mb, R2W 5L1 or Fax 2045864260 / e‑mail: hopece@​mymts.​net QUALIFICATIONS: • Graduate of a recognized school of medicine • Established relationships/​connections with First Nations, Inuit, and Métis communities • Previous work experience in First Nations, Inuit and/​or Métis communities • Three years family practice experience preferred • Interest and experience in community-based medicine • Currently registered with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba, CCFP, • Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Experience with Accuro Medical Charting. RESPONSIBILITIES: Primary Care • Provide primary health care to all ages in a community setting • Collaborate with nursing, counsellors, and Outreach teams • Participate in case conferences. • Provide in-service education as requested. • Chart appropriately, legibly, and according to Hope Centre policies. • Knowledge of emergency procedures. • Communicates effectively with all health team members to ensure client health needs are met • May provide in sharing after hour’s telephone call responsibilities with other physicians when necessary. • May encounter aggressive and/​or agitated clients and visitors. Program/​Agency • Participate in the supervision and evaluation of students when necessary • Establish, review, and update clinical protocols • Attend staff meetings. • Assist in the development of health information resources. • Record daily statistics as required, • Assist with orientation, training and supervision of students when necessary, • May be required to perform other duties and functions related to this job description. • but not exceeding above stated skills and capabilities
