Cost: $275/person; includes lunch and refreshments.
Location: 765 Main Street (Social Enterprise Centre)
At any given time, 1 out of 20 people may be thinking about suicide. This is a two-day workshop that teaches community members to provide a skilled intervention and develop a collaborative safety plan to keep someone safe and alive. Two instructors certified by Livngworks will facilitate the workshop. This is a great opportunity to network with others in the community in a safe, inclusive space. Participants will receive a workbook, wallet card and certificate.
The goal is promotion of a suicide-safer community. Register at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 204−292−7202 for more information.
