NOTICE OF THE 115^th ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Business Meeting of the Members of Doctors Manitoba is called for and will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at 6:30 p.m.

Register online for the AGM. Please note, there will be a remote (virtual) option for the AGM and an in-person option. In accordance with the Doctors Manitoba By-Laws, the Meeting is called for the following purposes. 

1. To approve the Minutes of the 114^th Annual General Business Meeting, held on May 19, 2022;
2. To receive the recommendation of the Board of Directors for the office of President-Elect for 2023 – 24 and, as no other nominations have been received in accordance with the By-Laws, to approve the recommendation;
3. To approve proposed amendments to the By-Laws to modernize how we are governed and how members are engaged in important decisions; and
4. To transact such other business as may properly be brought before the Meeting.

All Members in good standing are invited to attend either in person or virtually. Please register and indicate your preference for attendance. Further details will be emailed to you.

The Agenda, the Minutes of the 2022 Annual General Business Meeting, and other details will be posted on this page prior to the Meeting. Members who prefer to receive this information by mail must contact the Doctors Manitoba office at 204−985−5888 no later than May 1, 2023.

This document provides a summary of the months of research and consultation with members to improve how Doctors Manitoba is governed and how decisions are made, as well as providing an overview of the proposed changes to our by-laws, approved and recommended by the Doctors Manitoba Board of Directors.
