Dr. Maxine Holmqvist

Dr. Maxine Holmqvist is an associate professor in the Department of Clinical Health Psychology in the Max Rady College of Medicine and a practicing clinical psychologist in the Behavioural Sleep Medicine Clinic at the Health Sciences Centre, where she is active in clinical innovation, research, training, and service delivery. She is also a past-chair of the clinical section of the Canadian Psychological Association and received that organization’s Award for Clinical Excellence in 2022. She has over a decade of experience treating sleep disorders and has a particular interest in supporting the well-being of healthcare providers.
