Dr. Noel was born in Glenboro, Manitoba and attended medical school at the University of Manitoba. In 2004 she completed her family medicine residency training through University of Manitoba rural family medicine program in the Parkland region.
Following residency she started doing a few locums throughout the province before working in St. Pierre Jolys until 2005.
After providing a 1 month locum service in The Pas in 2006, she relocated to the northern Manitoba town.
Her work in The Pas has changed over the years, initially starting in the emergency department and medical ward, with a shift in focus away from acute care and more to family practice. She currently has a solo family practice clinic and has incorporated other interests including coverage in the chemotherapy department, dialysis, and long term care and more recently The Pas Correctional Center. Her main practice interests are geriatrics and oncology, as well as neonatal care.
Dr. Noel and her husband live just outside of The Pas on an acreage to accommodate their 3 rescue dogs and 1 rescue cat – Taffy, Shadow, Gilly, and Kitty-Kitty respectively. When time permits they like to enjoy time at the Noel family cabin on Cranberry Portage Lake for fishing, ice fishing, barbeques with friends, and partake in one of their favourite past times, snowmobiling.
